Palau Güell is conveniently located in the vibrant El Raval district of Barcelona, at Carrer Nou de la Rambla, 3-5, making it accessible through various modes of transportation suitable for visitors from around the world.

If you’re driving to Palau Güell (Carrer Nou de la Rambla 3‑5, Barcelona), note that parking in the immediate area is very limited. Street parking around the palace tends to fill up quickly and often only allows short‑stay or paid spots. You’ll find nearby paid garages around the La Rambla/El Raval area where you can park and then walk a short distance to the palace.

Several city bus lines stop along or near La Rambla, just a short walk from Palau Güell. For example, you can take buses 14, 59, 91 or 120 and get off near La Rambla and then walk up to Carrer Nou de la Rambla. This is an easy and convenient option if you’re already using public transit around the city.

While there is no train station that stops right at the palace itself, you can take regional or commuter rail into Barcelona and then switch to metro or bus to reach the palace. For example, arriving at a main station like Plaça Catalunya or Sants Estació, then using metro line L3 (or a connecting line) to reach the closest metro stop, and walk from there.

The fastest metro option is to take the green line (Line L3) and get off at either Liceu or Drassanes stations. From Liceu station, you’ll be just a few minutes’ walk down La Rambla to Carrer Nou de la Rambla 3‑5. This is one of the most direct and stress‑free ways to arrive.

Barcelona has good cycling infrastructure and you can bike to the El Raval/La Rambla area where Palau Güell is located. Once you’re in the district, lock your bike safely (look for a public bike rack or secure parking) and walk the final stretch to the palace.
Make sure to follow the city’s cycling rules: use the bike lanes where available, respect pedestrians and traffic rules.

If you’re staying in or near central Barcelona—say around Plaça Catalunya or along La Rambla—you can simply walk to Palau Güell. From Plaça Catalunya it’s about a 10‑15 minute easy walk down La Rambla to Carrer Nou de la Rambla 3‑5. Walking allows you to soak in the neighborhood atmosphere and arrive relaxed.
